The St. Joe Community Foundation has approved a $135,490 grant for Florida State University Panama City’s Advancing Science and Career Education in New Technologies (ASCENT) Program.
At 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, FSU PC will hold a check presentation at the Bay District Schools Board Meeting (1311 Balboa Ave, Panama City, FL) with members of St. Joe Community Foundation and ASCENT Program, including Dr. Larry Dennis, Program Director and Dr. Suzanne Remedies, Program Manager.
FSU and FSU PC take preliminary precautionary protective actions to prepare the campuses for possible impacts of severe weather. Classes canceled beginning at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26 through all day Friday, September 30 to allow students to travel safely out of the area if they so choose.
On Sept. 23, 2022, FSU Panama City will continue to “shed light on diversity” through its Illumination series featuring human rights attorney and Rutgers University professor Noura Erakat.
Erakat teaches at Rutgers University, New Brunswick in the Department of Africana Studies and the Program in Criminal Justice. She is an award-winning author and co-founding editor of “Jadaliyya,” an electronic magazine on the Middle East.
