Florida State University Panama City is partnering with SkillStorm, a tech talent accelerator, to launch technology-based training courses for students, alumni and professionals looking to advance their careers in the tech industry.
This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to enable more members of the FSU PC community to access training in high-demand tech skills and will allow students to pursue industry certifications such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner Certification and AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification.

Florida State University Panama City has named Brittany Pace as the new public outreach specialist for the St. Andrew and St. Joseph Bays Estuary Program. She began her role as outreach specialist on June 1.

Florida State University Panama City faculty member Denise Montford, ACSW, LCSW, has been named the 2022 Social Work Educator of the Year by the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-FL).
Montford will be recognized during a ceremony at NASW-FL’s annual conference in Orlando on Thursday, June 9. NASW-FL established the statewide award to honor an exceptional educator who has demonstrated dedication to students and education, in addition to advancing the profession through research.
