My name is Jessie Newell, and I was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. I am currently a paraprofessional pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and I am passionate about creating supportive, encouraging learning environments for young students. I believe deeply in helping children grow into the best version of themselves, whether academically, socially, and personally, and I strive each day to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning. Working in the classroom has strengthened my commitment to equity, patience, and relationship‑building. I value the opportunity to support students as they take risks, discover their strengths, and develop the skills they need to thrive. My goal is always to meet students where they are and help them move forward with encouragement and high expectations.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, who are a constant source of joy and support. I also love experimenting in the kitchen, especially when I’m baking desserts to share with the people around me. These moments help me stay grounded, creative, and ready to bring my best self back to the classroom each day.
