Florida State University Panama City Electrical Engineering students will present laboratory projects and five senior design (capstone) projects utilizing state-of-the-industry technology from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the FSU Panama City Holley Academic Center Lecture Hall. Capstone projects are mentored and sponsored by local industry.

Sam E. Nole has become the latest addition to the FSU Panama City’s STEM Institute in an effort to create engaging learning experiences for K-12 students and teachers who inspire the next generation to pursue STEM education and careers.

Florida State University Panama City Electrical Engineering students will present their senior design projects utilizing state of the industry technology in the FSU Panama City Holley Academic Center Lecture Hall on Thursday, December 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The presentations will highlight undergraduate course and capstone projects.

On Monday, April 23, at 12:45 p.m., in the Holley Academic Center Lecture Hall, the George A. Butchikas Autism Foundation will make a $40,000 contribution to support the at Florida State University Panama City.  The Butchikas Autism Foundation joins others across the United States in celebrating National Autism Awareness Month which began April 1.

Team Osceola, comprised of six FSU Panama City electrical engineering students, soared to 2nd place overall in the altitude competition during the final launch events of the 2012 National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) University Student Launch Initiative (USLI).  The annual competition was held in Toney, Alabama on April 20-22
