FSU PC CAREER & INTERNSHIP FAIR PREPARES STUDENTS FOR JOBS
The FSU Panama City Career & Internship Fair will bring employers from across northwest Florida to campus on Wednesday, March 6. The event is designed to demonstrate FSU PC's commitment to supporting students as they transition from college to careers.
“Students gain meaningful knowledge, experience and skills through internships, part-time and full-time jobs. Many of the available jobs and internships with our participating employers also form a pipeline of talent into local industries and national businesses,” said Jim Allen, director of Academic Services at FSU Panama City.
The FSU Career Center also welcomed Gold Partner employers—Thomas Howell Ferguson, P.A. Certified Accountants, Enterprise Holdings and Southwestern Advantage—each of which will be seeking to connect with FSU PC students for exciting and valuable employment opportunities.
More than 40 employers have signed up to participate, including Amazon.com, Battelle, Booz | Allen | Hamilton, Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Department of Transportation, Henderson Beach Resort, Holmes Correctional Institution, Kimley-Horn, Lumio Solar, Margaritaville, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Tallahassee Police Department, The St. Joe Co., Trane Technologies, U.S. Marine Corps, Vivint, Volkert Inc., Waffle House Inc., and the Walton County Sheriff's Office.
