The psychology program at FSU Panama City offers a general background in psychology. With upper-level courses in the clinical, cognitive, social and neuroscience disciplines, the program offers students the flexibility to specialize in the areas most relevant to their career goals. Coursework is designed to help students to use the scientific method to understand, describe, predict, and change behavior and mental processes. Students can also tailor the program through guided research, an honors thesis or even a summer study-abroad program at the FSU London Study Center.

Additionally, our graduates are prepared for a number of career fields adjacent to psychology such as K-12 teaching, Human Resources, Sales, Public Relations, Organizational Management, Educational Psychology and many more.  Those with a major in Psychology can also take additional coursework to apply to medical and law school.
