Zenovia Goss, 21, calls Panama City — specifically, FSU Panama City — her home. Planning to graduate with a bachelors in Elementary Education in December 2023, she said the college, the program and the people who surround her “just feel right.”
“I love teaching,” she continued. “That moment of seeing a child understand what you’re teaching them is just amazing. It gets me every time. I get emotional every time.”
As president of the Black Student Union, she’s focusing on building a diverse membership where everyone can feel at home.
“We come together and discover that we’re not so different from each other after all,” Goss said. “The club is for everyone to join. We’re open to everybody’s opinions, and everybody respects each other’s views.”
