Florida State University Panama City is offering up to $1,500 per semester in additional scholarships to students who enroll full-time in the Hospitality & Tourism Management degree program.

To receive the scholarship, which can be stacked with other financial aid and scholarships, students must enroll full-time.

“The Hospitality & Tourism Management major is student-focused and industry-driven, guided by best practices and a global perspective,” Dean Randy Hanna said. “You'll receive a unique, personalized experience every step of the way along your academic journey.”

The Dedman College of Hospitality at FSU is ranked fourth among hospitality programs in the country and thirteenth in the world, according to the Shanghai Ranking Consultancy's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects in 2022.

The hospitality management program was originally established at FSU in 1947 in recognition of the demand for hotel and restaurant industry executives with the objective of providing the kind of education tomorrow’s hospitality manager would need. The curriculum is designed for students to meet high standards of achievement in general education, as well as acquire specialized knowledge needed for hospitality industry careers. It also focuses on the basic functions, objectives and tools of management that are common to executive roles.

The industry engagement, internships and student activities in this major will prepare students for a career in making other people's comfort, enjoyment and happiness their business. For details, visit PC.FSU.edu/hospitality.
