Law Enforcement Intelligence

Description of Major

A law enforcement intelligence degree from FSU Panama City teaches students how to plan and carry out intelligence and surveillance operations in dynamic security settings at the federal, state and local level. The Public Safety & Security program integrates practical exercises with theoretical principles to provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities required by a variety of jobs in law enforcement, security, intelligence services and investigative agencies. The guiding perspective of public safety as an operational spectrum is prevention to response to investigation, connected by a network of intelligence and facilitated by an over-arching management system.

Prerequisite Coursework: Mathematics requirements of MAC 1105 College Algebra and STA 2023 Statistics

Mapping is FSU’s academic advising and monitoring system. Academic progress is monitored each Fall and Spring semester to ensure that students are on course to earn their degree in a timely fashion.
