Peer Tutoring

Whether you are stuck on a specific problem or need help writing a paper, our tutors are here to help. Student tutoring allows you the ease of talking with a classmate with the comfort of knowing they have been recommended by faculty. They know what they are talking about and they speak your language.

If the courses or subject areas you need support in are not listed, please speak with our academic advising team to arrange a tutor. To request skype tutoring through the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) on the Tallahassee campus, email tutor@fsu.edu. It may take 24 hours to hear back from ACE, so be proactive and plan ahead.

Virtual peer tutoring available

Effective immediately, remote peer tutoring will be available for all undergraduate FSU Panama City students requiring assistance. If you need tutoring support, please email the peer tutor listed below for specific course(s). Peer tutors will provide tutoring support using Zoom or Skype until further notice.

Once your tutoring appointment is confirmed with the peer tutor, they will send you a Zoom invitation or their Skype ID.

Please note: Students are strongly encouraged to email peer tutors in advance about the subject material they would like reviewed and schedule an appointment. If you experience difficulty reaching a Peer Tutor outside their regularly scheduled availability listed below, you may call Jim Allen at (850) 770-2161 and he will assist in connecting you with available resources.

If the courses or subject areas you need support in are not listed, please speak with our academic advising team to arrange a tutor.
