Student Research Symposium


We are excited to announce the second annual FSU Panama City Student Research Symposium. At this events, students and faculty can display and present their research and other works, including research projects (either done in class or outside of class), designs, clinical projects, project proposals, artistic works or compositions, critical reviews, and other independent works completed during the 2020-2022 academic years.

Florida State University provides students an engaging community with the flexibility to explore their full range of interests. Our professors focus on student success with opportunities such as undergraduate research.

Following the structure set by the Center for Undergraduate Research and Academic Engagement, the FSU PC Student Research Symposium is an annual showcase for students from all majors to present their work to the university community. Student researchers from FSU, area schools and community colleges are invited to present their work in a poster or creative format.

Novel research work for presentation can include STEM research projects, designs, project proposals, artistic works or compositions, critical reviews and other independent works completed during the academic year.

  • Date of Symposium: Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm
  • Location: Online via Zoom & On Campus
  • Submission deadline is midnight Tuesday, March 15, 2022

2022 Student Research Symposium Awards and Prizes

The Florida State University Panama City 2022 Research Symposium is excited to offer award recognition to both Undergraduate and Graduate students for their completed researched in areas of Best Methodology, Best Presentation, and Best Overall. In addition, Florida State University Panama City will provide each participant the opportunity to win one of three $500 scholarships. We are proud of the work and research our students are doing!

After your submission has been approved, you will be sent directions on how and where you can print your poster. 

General Presentation Information

Awards will be judged and presented. More information on the awards will be posted in March.
