FSU Panama City to hosts panel discussion on religion

Florida State University Panama City will hold a panel discussion on religion, 5:30 p.m. CT, Thursday, January 19 in the St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture Hall at FSU PC.

The Illumination series at FSU PC is a comprehensive calendar of events, workshops and forums throughout the year that celebrate diverse cultures and encourage the community to engage in meaningful conversations and educational opportunities.

FSU Panama City hosts 3rd annual Out in the South event

On Oct. 8, Florida State University Panama City will host Out in the South, a diversity, equity and inclusion forum, to educate and affirm experiences of the LGBTQ+ and underrepresented communities.

The third annual event is set for 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, in the St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture Hall at the Holley Academic Center at FSU Panama City, 4750 Collegiate Drive. Scheduled to coincide with LGBTQ+ History Month. Out in the South will include guest speakers, panel discussions and giveaways, including $100 in gift cards. Check-in begins at noon.

FSU Panama City hosts Summer Send Off for Kinsey African American Art & History Collection

Florida State University Panama City invites the community to a Summer Send Off for the Kinsey African American Art & History Collection on July 28 with Shirley and Bernard Kinsey.

“It has been our honor to host this world-renowned exhibit, and we have been overwhelmed by the tremendous response from our community,” said Dean Randy Hanna. “We look forward to welcoming the Kinseys back to FSU Panama City and hope you will join us.”
