Psychology: Applied Behavior Analysis

Applied behavior analysis, which has been evolving since the mid 1960s, focuses on analyzing and modifying behavior through environmental changes. The five-semester master’s program at FSU Panama City is accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International. Curriculum and practicum have been verified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), which certifies professionals at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.

All students in the limited-access program receive a tuition waiver for working at paid assistantship placements with approved behavior analytic agencies, such as FSU Panama City’s on-campus Early Childhood Autism Program. The experience working directly with clients offsets tuition while allowing students to build a portfolio demonstrating behavior skills.

Now accepting applications for the Fall 2024 Term. The deadline to apply for this program is January 15.
