Walid A. Hadi, Ph.D., is an Associate Teaching Professor and the Program coordinator at Florida State University Panama City in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program. He has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, Ontario, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Hadi has over fifteen years of teaching experience in North America and overseas. He has taught several courses and laboratories in circuits, electronics, power systems, electric machines, electromagnetics, and mathematics. His teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of hands on experience in concert with theory. Dr. Hadi is the recipient of the Faculty of the Year Award for the 2018-2019 academic year from Florida State University Panama City.

In addition to his academic experience, Dr. Hadi was a planning engineer with American Electric Power Inc.
