March 21, Tuesday 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Holley Lecture Hall A, B, C. The Financially Savvy Women - Panel Session. Women are controlling ever-increasing amounts of the wealth in the United States. In fact, 44% of ultra-high-net worth individuals in the US are female, and by 2030, women are expected to control much of the $30 trillion in financial assets that Baby Boomers will possess. In addition, women of younger generations (Gen X, Y, and Z) feel more knowledgeable about - and enjoy - investing more than women of the Millennial and Boomer generations. The financial services industry has not kept up with the unique needs of women. However, many companies are addressing the gap by seeking to increase the number of female financial professionals in their firms to attract more women as clients. Our panel of successful female financial professionals will provide insight into:
• The financial issues that are most important to women
• The ways women approach their personal finances differently than men, and
• How female financial professionals help other women become financially savvy
