Entrepreneurship Lunch & Learn welcomes Bay County Tax Collector Chuck Perdue

The first session of Florida State University Panama City’s Entrepreneurship Lunch & Learn for the fall semester will be on Wednesday, September 23, with instructor Brian Baber welcoming Bay County Tax Collector Chuck Perdue.

Each Lunch & Learn session is from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Holley Academic Center’s St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture Hall, 4750 Collegiate Drive, Panama City. There is no cost for admission, and a light lunch is provided. The public is invited.

Perdue was elected Bay County Tax Collector in November 2016 and took office in January  2017. Originally from Albany, Kentucky, Chuck moved to Bay County in 1984. He attended Bay High School, Gulf Coast Community College, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida State University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Troy University.

As a tax consultant, Perdue has represented Fortune 500 companies before the IRS and was a founding member of a local CPA firm specializing in accounting, tax preparation and problem resolution.

Baber, MBA, is the Entrepreneur in Residence at FSU PC’s Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship, specializing in real estate and construction.
