FSU Panama City to celebrate Garnet Key Honor Society 40th anniversary
Florida State University Panama City will mark 40 years of the Garnet Key Honor Society with a gala reception from 5:30-8 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2026. The event will be open to GKHS alumni and will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, keynote speakers, photo opportunities, entertainment and more.
The reception will take place in the Holley Academic Center’s St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture Hall, 4750 Collegiate Drive, Panama City.
Though organized in September 1986, the first group of 50 FSU PC students were inducted in December of that year, according to GKHS Coordinator Sarah Schreck. Members must exemplify the utmost in character, active community involvement and high academic standards. They must also promote activities that foster the progress and spirit of FSU Panama City.
