Improve management skills at free FSU PC Summer Leadership Workshops

"FSU PC L:eadership Workshop series flyer"Florida State University Panama City invites students and members of the public to improve their leadership skills through a three-part Summer Leadership Workshop Series. The free sessions will be conducted in June and July by Eren Ozgen, Ph.D., MBA, and professor of management at FSU PC.

The first session on June 26 will focus on “Creative Problem Solving,” and the second on July 16 will be about “Personal Productivity and Time Management.” The final session, “Managing Conflict,” will be on July 17. All workshops will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in room B208 on the second floor of the Holley Academic Center, 4750 Collegiate Drive, Panama City.

Admission is free, but an RSVP is encouraged. For more details or to reserve a spot, contact Ozgen at eozgen@fsu.edu.

“I have carefully designed the workshops to be engaging and enjoyable for attendees at every level,” said Ozgen, an active scholar and a researcher with more than 30 peer-reviewed publications. “The sessions are designed to inspire self-awareness and provide strategies that participants can immediately apply to lead and communicate more effectively.”

Ozgen has led numerous academic seminars and conference presentations. A recipient of research and teaching awards, her primary areas of expertise are leadership, strategy, management and organizational behavior.
