SEMINOLE LANDING TO WELCOME FSU PANAMA CITY STUDENTS FOR MOVE-IN DAY
Seminole Landing, the residential hall at Florida State University Panama City, will celebrate Move-In Day for the fall semester on Thursday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live music, food trucks and the official debut of a newly-wrapped Bayway bus sporting the FSU Panama City slogan, “Changing the Lives that Change the World.”

More than 200 students will move into the four-story apartment complex in a staggered schedule. Half of the residents are FSU Panama City students, and the other half are Gulf Coast State College students.
The day’s theme is “Seminole Beach Party,” featuring steel drum music by Americalypso and snow cones by Kona Ice. Food trucks will be on site, including Techspresso coffee.
New residents will also enjoy a week of special events after Move-in Day, including DIY welcome mats, game nights, a pool party and a SCUBA diving class in the Seminole Landing pool conducted by FSU PC’s Advanced Science Diving Program.
The upscale, fully-furnished apartments at Seminole Landing feature a TV, in-unit washer/dryer and kitchen, with utilities included. One-, two- and four-bedroom floor plans are available. Recreational amenities include a 24-hour fitness facility, bayside infinity pool, gazebo, fire pit and gas barbecue grill. Residents also have access to private study and community rooms, lounge spaces and an academic success center. For more information about Seminole Landing, visit pc.fsu.edu/Seminole-Landing.
During Move-In Day, Student Affairs and Student Government Council will offer information and resources about local entertainment and dining; hand out coupons for tourist activities; provide basic school supplies including notebooks, pens, and flash drives; and answer questions about university resources, staffing and more.
On Sunday, Aug. 24, first-year students will participate in the Convocation ceremony at 1:30 p.m. in the Holley Academic Center’s St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture Hall. Fall semester classes begin on Aug. 25.
