Alumni, students, families invited to FSU Panama City’s annual Nole Fest on Friday
Students and alumni are invited to kick off Homecoming Week with Nole Fest 2024 at Florida State University Panama City on Friday, Nov. 15.
“Nole Fest at FSU Panama City is the perfect way to kick off the weekend with our entire community—students, alumni, faculty and staff—all coming together for a celebration of school spirit,” said Isaiah Long, Student Affairs Advocacy coordinator. “With live music, free food and tons of activities, it’s a great opportunity to connect, unwind and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere here at FSU Panama City.”
Beginning at 5 p.m., enjoy glow-in-the-dark lawn games, free food tickets to the Sandy Spear while they last, free FSU merchandise and more. Live music by Flabbergasted starts at 6 p.m., and students with FSU ID can pick up their tickets to the Homecoming football game.
“Whether you’re catching up with old friends, meeting new faces or just looking for some fun, Nole Fest offers something for everyone,” Long said. “It’s a chance to experience the energy and excitement of FSU, and we’re thrilled to welcome everyone out. Bring your friends and get ready for an unforgettable night of music and fun.”
The event, thrown by the Student Government Council, is just the start of Family Weekend festivities, which include brunch on the Holley Academic Center patio at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16. Afterward, the registered student organizations and clubs will join to “Deck the Halls” of the Holley at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Homecoming Week will continue Monday through Saturday, Nov. 18-23, with activities for students, including: Smoothie Social at 3 p.m. Nov. 18; Volleyball Tournament at 5 p.m. Nov. 19; do-it-yourself Homecoming merchandise at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 20; and Bob Ross Paint-Along at 5 p.m. Nov. 21.
