Karen Works, Ph.D., assistant teaching professor in computer science at FSU PC, was unanimously elected as the Southeast Regional Representative for the National Board of Directors of the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges (CCSC).

The Consortium is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting quality computer-oriented curricula in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems majors and with the use of computers in the Liberal Arts and Sciences. The CCSC encourages the sharing of expertise, effective curricula and efficient technological applications through local, regional and national organizations also devoted to this purpose.
