Delta Delta Epsilon (DDE) is a dedicated honor society for the forensic sciences. Our mission is to recognize academic excellence, foster community engagement, and advance the forensic science profession. Florida State University is proud to host the Alpha Kappa Chapter, welcoming both campus-based and distance learning students who demonstrate high academic achievement.
Membership & Eligibility Each Fall, the Alpha Kappa Chapter invites qualifying students to apply. To be eligible for induction, students must:

Major in Crime Scene Investigation.

Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.

Complete at least 22 credit hours within the major.
Participation & Service We ensure all members can stay connected via GoToMeeting for our regular sessions. To maintain active status, campus-based students organize and lead a Spring service project. Distance learners participate by submitting documentation of local community service in their own areas and will receive their official certificates and graduation cords by mail.
