Collection Development Policies
The Cook Library & Learning Center follows FSU Libraries Collection Development Policies and Strategies, including guidelines for adding and withdrawing materials. Our collections are continuously evaluated and expanded to meet the needs of FSU Panama City faculty, staff, and students:
The library accepts donations; however, the following materials are generally not accepted or added to the collection:
- Physical Media, unless included with a monograph
- Materials in languages other than English, unless they support a course or faculty research
- Print magazines or newspapers
- Incomplete board games or games with missing pieces
- Temporary loans of personal copies
FSU affiliates who wish to request the library purchase materials should visit pc.fsu.edu/library, select the For Faculty tab, and complete the Request Materials form.
To donate materials, visit pc.fsu.edu/library, select the Resources tab, and complete the Donate Materials form. All donations are reviewed and approved by the Library Director before being added to the collection.
