FSU Panama City will host “Fast to the Future,” a career exploration and networking event for students, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in the FSU Panama City Holley Academic Center. All college and university students are welcome.

The event will provide students a brief exposure to a variety of career options, allowing them to network with area industry leaders to learn about the types of careers that stem from different interest areas. More than 40 employers in industries such as engineering and technology, hospitality, public safety, education and more will attend to share internship and employment opportunities.

“Events like this are essential to our student’s overall success at the college and university levels because it allows them to connect with and learn from industry representatives in the fields they are preparing to enter after graduation,” said Jim Allen, director of enrollment management and student success. “This type of event helps students establish a professional network they will rely on as they continue their professional journey well past graduation.”

“Fast to the Future is part of an ongoing partnership between FSU Panama City, Gulf Coast State College and Florida State’s Career Center,” said Randy Hanna, dean of FSU Panama City. “We will continue working together to ensure students at the university and college levels have the skills and resources necessary to succeed in their professional careers.”
