FSU Panama City, in partnership with JCPenney, will help students become more career ready during Seminole Suit-Up 4-7 p.m. Oct. 6. The event, held at JCPenney’s location at the former Panama City Mall, will offer up to 60 percent off select career apparel, shoes and accessories when students pair the 30 percent off Suit-Up coupon with already established sales and promotions.

Participants also can learn how to look their best at job interviews and internships through free mini makeovers, hair consultations and sample products.

“Events like Seminole Suit-Up are vital for student success as they prepare students for life after graduation,” said Student Success & Registrar Services Director Jim Allen, who oversees career services at FSU Panama City. “Especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, students are looking for ways to save money while creating a wardrobe of quality professional attire.”

The FSU Career Center has hosted Seminole Suit-Up events in Tallahassee for the past two years. This is the first event in the Panama City area.

Students must bring their FSU ID to receive discounts. For more information, contact Jim Allen at 850‑770‑2288 or jwallen@pc.fsu.edu.
