Seminole Celebration to honor alumni, name 2016 Notable ’Noles

By: Erica Howard

FSU Panama City will honor campus alumni during Seminole Celebration from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in the Holley Lecture Hall.

The event, which is free for alumni and guests, will include live music, free beverages and food from Shane’s Rib Shack.

The campus also will name the 2016 Notable ’Noles who have made outstanding contributions both to our community and within their careers.

The Notable ’Nole award has been an annual tradition since it was established during Homecoming 1996. The award recognizes FSU Panama City who demonstrated excellence and dedication as students and have continued to exhibit these qualities in every aspect of their lives.

Notable ‘Noles are selected by a panel comprised of FSU Panama City alumni and staff. Criteria used to select the Notable ‘Noles may include, but is not limited to:

  • Demonstration of excellence and dedication while attending FSU Panama City.
  • Contributions/involvement in their community.
  • Professional/career accomplishment after graduation.

To nominate a Notable ’Nole, email the nomination form to alumni@pc.fsu.edu.
