NICHOLSON NAMED SECURITY OFFICER OF THE YEAR

Jeanette Nicholson, who started her career with FSU Panama City in 1997, was named the Security Officer of the Year.
Chief Justin Malloy described Nicholson as an integral part of the team and a consummate professional in all her security duties.

"Jeanette walks through every building and visits each office during her shift," Malloy said. "She knows everyone who works at the FSU PC and Gulf Coast campuses, and they know her. Jeanette is so thorough with her walking and mobile patrols, she knows when something is out of place and investigates the situation."

Malloy added that Nicholson is extremely dedicated, willing to change her schedule for extra patrols or special events. He praised her work ethic as an asset to the FSU Police Department.
