Faith and Fellowship: Religious students, faculty and staff meet at ‘Love Wins’

Libby Douglas, Student Intern

Unlike an official Registered Student Organization, Love Wins is a loose group of students, staff and faculty who gather to study the Bible and have fellowship with each other. There is no specified leader of the group.

The message of the first meeting was to be content in all circumstances. The primary scriptures referenced came from an uplifting passage in Philippians chapter 4 that encourages readers to focus on the good things in life.

“We just need people and love,” said Anthony Pilot, assistant director of Enrollment Management and Student Success. Pilot is an advisor of DevotioNoles, another on-campus Bible club and RSO.

There is no requirement to sign up for the study group. Everyone is welcome to attend. The group meets on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. at the Old Bookstore in the Barron Building.
