Abstract
Brigadier General Chuck Yeager who came from humble beginnings and went on to influence aviation, contribute to the efforts of World War II, Vietnam and the Korean war. Most notably, General Yeager became the first pilot to break the speed of sound and then became the first to fly twice the speed of sound in level flight. As a leader and test pilot, General Yeager pushed boundaries and challenged limits and transformed what was once thought to be impossible in the field of Aviation. Showing it was possible to simultaneously be humble and legendary.
