Future Physicists of Florida host STEM Expo
Middle school students who have been inducted into FSU Panama City’s chapter of Future Physicist of Florida will get to try on potential careers during the STEM Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at FSU Panama City
During the event, about 100 students will rotate through hands-on activities focusing on particle physics, electrical engineering, civil engineering, unmanned aerial systems and cybersecurity. Science professionals and students from FSU Panama City, Florida State University and Gulf Coast State College will host the sessions.
Future Physicists of Florida was founded in 2012 to prepare promising middle school students for college majors in physics, engineering and related fields. The FSU Panama City chapter inducted it inaugural class in 2015.
