Big Data seminar to showcase Census data analysis

The FSU Panama City Library and Learning Center will host “Big Data: How to Access Census Information” from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 9, in the campus’s Holley Academic Center Lecture Hall.

At the seminar, a Data Dissemination Specialist from the Census Bureau will demonstrate various ways to access population, income, ethnicity, education and other information.

The U.S. Census Bureau is the leading source of quality data about our people and economy. Census data can be used by businesses, public officials and individuals to learn about a community’s demographics.
