My name is Sophia Crittenden. I am the spouse of Duriel Crittenden. He served in the US Navy from July 2001 to August 2024 and retired as the Command Master Chief for NSA Panama City Naval Installation.
As a veteran (or military family member), what has stood out to you as a positive experience or attribute during your experience working at FSU Panama City?
As a military spouse I have had the honor to participate in the military luncheons on the 1st Friday of the month. This is a nice way to gather and still feel like you are a part of something greater than yourself with people that understand the extra stressors of military life.
How do you feel the local Panama City/Bay County community has demonstrated its support for veterans and/or military family members?
I know that there are parades for holidays, school groups for our kiddos, and we receive discounts from some agencies, shops, and restaurants in town.,
