As a veteran or military family member, what has stood out to you as a positive experience or attribute during your experience working at FSU Panama City/The Collegiate School? FSU is dedicated to helping veterans, both student and employee. Veteran support services and recognition of veterans at graduation ceremonies really stood out as positive attributes.
How do you feel the local Panama City/Bay County community has demonstrated its support for veterans and/or military family members? Panama City is surrounded by several military bases and is a prime location for military members to live after completing their service. This is a pro-military city, and the support is evident in all aspects of the community. Military parades, recognition events, discounts at local businesses, and awareness of the unique needs of individuals who served are examples of the support the community provides. Community support for veterans and family members is something that occurs in the Panama City area each day, and not just on Veterans Day.
