Life Management Center of Northwest Florida is sponsoring the 7^th Annual Suicide Prevention Conference on Nov. 17 at Gulf Coast State College’s Sarzin Lecture Hall from 1 – 5 p.m. Florida State University Deputy Chief of Police, Major Jim Russell, will be a featured guest speaker. Deputy Chief Russell is dedicated to advocating for the elimination of stigma concerning mental health issues, prevention of suicide and self-harm, encouraging senior management in first responder agencies to become better educated, and encouraging first responders to practice help-seeking without fear.

The conference is free, open to the public with limited seating. Refreshments are included.
