SGC, RSOs host Spring Fling

FSU Panama City’s Student Government Council will host Spring Fling with daily activities March 30 through April 3.

Monday, March 30

SGC & RSO decoration contest: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Holley Rotunda. Free Tropical Smoothie, popcorn and snacks will be served to students.


Tuesday, March 31

Global Arts Society performance: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Holley Lecture Hall. Presented by the Black Student Union.

Music & Sports: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Holley Academic Center. Enjoy your favorite recess and lawn games. Free sodas, sno-cones, cotton candy and lunch from Seabreeze BBQ will be served to students.

Open mic night: 6-8 p.m. in the Barron Commons. Share your favorite song, poem or prose piece.


Wednesday, April 1

Shrimp Boil: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Office Building patio. Free sodas, sno-cones, cotton candy and lunch from Bob’s Catering will be served to students. Presented by SHARC.

Music & Sports: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Holley Academic Center. Enjoy your favorite recess and lawn games.

Toga Party: 6-10 p.m. in the Holley Lecture Hall. Enjoy free food and music from the Krooked Kilts. Togas must be worn over clothing. Presented by the Psychology Club.


Thursday, April 2

Humans v. Zombies: all day with mission control at the outdoor amphitheater.

Music & Sports: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Holley Academic Center. Enjoy your favorite recess and lawn games. Free sodas, sno-cones, cotton candy and a cookout from Sonny’s BBQ will be served to students.


Friday, April 3

Bonfire: 6:30-11 p.m. in Rosemary Beach. Please bring your own chair or blanket and a s'mores ingredient (marshmallows, graham crackers or chocolate). Families are welcome, but no children after 8:30 p.m. Directions from campus: Drive west on Back Beach Road past Pier Park and over Philips Inlet Bridge. Turn left on the second turn on the left (South Orange Street).
