FSU PC ENTREPRENEURSHIP EVENT FEATURES JETBOATPILOT FOUNDER WILL OWEN

Tony Simmons

The community is invited to learn what entrepreneurship is all about through the latest in a series of Lunch & Learn presentations hosted by FSU Panama City professor Brian Baber, MBA.

Join Baber and his guest, Will Owen, founder and president of JetBoatPilot, a marine products brand headquartered in Panama City, from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Holley Center’s St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture Hall, 4750 Collegiate Drive, Panama City. There is no cost for admission, and lunch will be provided.

Owen is a designer who holds nine patents, an author and social media influencer, and is widely acknowledged as a leader within the recreational boating community, according to Baber. With great emphasis on quality, innovation and customer care, JetBoatPilot is regarded as one of the best places online to buy boating accessories, he added.

“As an engineer and product innovator, Will possesses a unique ability to dissect and analyze problems and create simple solutions that benefit boaters around the world,” Baber said. “Many of the products Will has designed are manufactured in Panama City and are shipped around the globe through JetBoatPilot's dealer network and direct to consumers.”

Baber is the Entrepreneur in Residence at FSU PC’s Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship, specializing in real estate and construction. For more information, visit PC.FSU.EDU/entrepreneurship.

The discussion will also be made available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify as part of Baber’s new “FSU Panama City Entrepreneurship Lunch and Learn Podcast.”
