“Being able to communicate in different mediums is important, and being able to encompass everybody and speak in a way that captures their attention and understanding.” — Doug Williams

Corporate and Public Communication

Doug Williams, 23, is working toward his master’s degree in Corporate and Public Communication. Originally from Jacksonville, he was drawn to Panama City for grad school and the beach.

“Being able to communicate in different mediums is important, and being able to encompass everybody and speak in a way that captures their attention and understanding,” Williams said. “Interacting with others is fundamental, especially in this day and age. It helps in all facets of life, from business to social to personal, especially in these changing times.”

Williams, who works at the Holley Academic Center’s information desk and participates in campus organizations including the Volleyball and Esports teams, plans to apply his education to a career in the sports industry.
