Employee information
Only salaried university employees (USPS, A&P, Executive Service, Faculty; does not include OPS) scheduled to work during this time will be granted administrative leave for the closure. If you are not normally scheduled during this period or were already out on approved leave, then you will not be granted administrative leave for the closure.
We recognize that many of our employees will have child care responsibilities impacting their ability to report to work at 10:00 a.m. Employees should coordinate with their supervisors on their specific needs. Supervisors should generously approve annual leave if requested in these situations.
University employees scheduled to work when a campus reopens should report to work at that time. Employees who provide services deemed essential during an emergency may have to work. USPS employees required to perform essential duties during an emergency closure will be granted Straight Time Compensatory Leave for the hours worked in conjunction with their administrative leave. Please contact your supervisor and/or department if you have questions regarding your work status.
