Florida State University Panama City faculty member Denise Montford, ACSW, LCSW, has been named the 2022 Social Work Educator of the Year by the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-FL).

Montford will be recognized during a ceremony at NASW-FL’s annual conference in Orlando on Thursday, June 9. NASW-FL established the statewide award to honor an exceptional educator who has demonstrated dedication to students and education, in addition to advancing the profession through research.

Please join FSU Panama City and the Society of Student Social Workers in a Candlelight Vigil in remembrance of those whose lives were lost due to domestic violence. Sat. Oct. 28, Bayside Auditorium, 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Monday through Thursday (02/27 to 03/02/17)  there will be a remembrance table in Holley Rotunda for Dr. Grandison with opportunity to leave a card or note to be given to her family.
