Key Responsibilities

  • Usually, the first point of contact with inquiries regarding nurse anesthesia program
  • Process graduate applications and admissions for the nurse anesthesia program (NAP)
  • Maintain student records including licensure, certifications, malpractice, student health insurance, immunizations, and all necessary information for credentialing for various clinical sites and accrediting/credentialing agencies 
  • Maintain and secure all graduate alumni records
  • Organize orientation for incoming graduate students; process student block scheduling for all NAP graduate students each semester; coordinate scholarship applications; disseminate/collects required student health insurance forms/documents for NAP students; coordinate student criminal history background/fingerprint process for NAP students
  • Maintain Canvas Organization Site for NAP  
  • Responsible for wide ranging office administration, human resources, purchasing, and travel functions within the NAP including but not limited to purchase orders, invoices, travel authorizations, expense reports, monthly budget reconciliations, manage equipment maintenance and repair for NAP
  • Provides administrative support to the Program Administrator, Assistant Program Administrator, and the Faculty within the program
