Commencement Cap & Gown
Cap & Gown Orders
Information about cap & gown rental and/or ordering announcements is available online at http://www.herffjones.com/college/fsu or through the FSU Panama City bookstore during normal business hours. Caps & gowns can be picked up from the Panama City FSU Bookstore starting the week before finals and until the Friday before the ceremony.
PLEASE NOTE: We use cap & gown orders to confirm your intention to walk in the Commencement ceremony. If borrowing, buying, or renting caps and gowns from somewhere other than online or through the FSU Panama City bookstore, students MUST notify the Panama City campus Office of Admissions & Records by the deadline to order caps and gowns to ensure their place in Commencement. Students who do not have a cap and gown will not be permitted to attend the ceremony or receive tickets for the ceremony.

2017 Cap & Gown Pick-up Information
Panama City students will be able to pick up their cap, gown, and tickets starting April 24, 2017, on the first floor of the Barron Building. Caps and gowns will be distributed at the FSU bookstore and tickets will be distributed at the Admissions & Records Office, room 108. Below are the days and times available for pickup. Please note that the Admissions and Records (A&R) Office has different operation hours from the FSU Bookstore.
If picking up the cap and gown at the Tallahassee campus, please visit their graduation website (http://registrar.fsu.edu/graduation/) for pick up times and locations.
Tickets will only be given to students after picking up the cap and gown.Undergraduate students who have earned a degree of distinction will pick up their honor cords along with their tickets. Please read carefully the ceremony information that will come along with the tickets.
Allow extra time to fill out the two sided READER CARD for the ceremony. The card will serve as the seating assignment, name announcement card, and photo information for the ceremony.
Be sure to check the cap and gown, tassels and hoods (undergrads do not use hoods) to make sure they are the correct sizes and colors. If the cap or gown does not fit, please return to the FSU bookstore to exchange it for the correct size.
If unable to pick up the cap, gown, and tickets in person, students may send someone else instead but they must have their photo ID and a letter/e-mail from the graduate granting them permission to pick up the regalia and tickets. They will need to know how the graduate's name is to be announced at the ceremony as well as the email address for the graduation photo proof notification.
