The FSU Panama City campus is proud to have Dr. Sandra Halvorson as an instructor for the College of Communication since 1998. She teaches the following undergrad classes: Interpersonal Communication, Strategic Speech Making, Interviewing, Interracial/Intercultural Communication, and Communication for Organizing. At the graduate-level, her classes include: Group Dynamics and Leadership, Communication Planning & Dispute Resolution, and Colloquium in Speech Communication: Training & Consulting.
Recipient of University Teaching Awards, and Top Paper Awards, she contributes to the Communication Community by presenting numerous papers at National, Regional and Local Communication conferences. Her research interests include Studies in Communication Apprehension, Popular Culture, Disability Issues, Gender Studies, and Nonverbal Communication.
