Teaching Philosophy

I strive to create an interactive and collaborative learning environment where students feel safe to openly share their views and learn to respect the opinions of others.   I believe this type of learning atmosphere helps to facilitate the application of knowledge to real life situations and encourages growth in critical thinking skills necessary for social work practice.
