It's a fact of life. A college education is a significant investment. To take some of the pressure off and help make the process as painless as possible, the Office of Financial Aid can discuss monetary options with you and your family to make your educational dreams come true.
We encourage you to apply for financial aid to help defray costs. The University offers aid through scholarships, grants, loans and student employment. The Title IV Code for FSU Panama City is 001489.
Grants
Federal, state, or university awards that do not require repayment or work obligations. Grants are made to eligible students on the basis of financial need and merit, on a first come, first served basis.
Loans
Both need-based and non-need-based low interest loans are available to all eligible students and to parents of dependent students. The loans must be repaid.
Work Awards
Federal awards for college work-study may be awarded to eligible students on the basis of financial need. Only a few positions are available at FSU Panama City, so apply early.
Scholarships
Awards are made on the basis of merit, financial need or other specified criteria. Scholarships may be awarded by state, university, or by private donors and organizations. Separate applications are sometimes necessary. Students should inquire each semester about scholarships because deadlines and awards are normally made only one semester in advance.
