Some courses and majors are subject to additional fees, such as lab fees, program equipment fees and online course fees. This fee schedule is provided for estimation purposes only.

Special Out-of-State Tuition
Residents of the following counties may qualify for a special out-of-state tuition rate: Baldwin, Barbour, Butler, Clarke, Coffee, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Escambia, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Mobile, Monroe, Pike and Washington, Ala; and Baker, Decatur, Early, Miller and Seminole, Ga.

Tuition Reduction Scholarships
Accepted out-of-state freshmen will be automatically considered for Out-of-State Waivers/Scholarships. A separate application is not required. Waivers/Scholarships are competitive and awarded based on academic merit (combination of academic weighted grade point average AND test scores).
- Full Out-of-State Tuition Waiver
Awarded to a limited number of non-Florida freshmen based on academic merit. The total amount of this award is a 100% reduction (waiver) of the out-of-state portion of tuition, valued at approximately $481 per semester hour ($14,444 based on 30 semester hours for the academic year). The waiver amount is only applied toward tuition and does not include other fees, nor does it apply toward study-abroad programs.
- Partial Out-of-State Tuition Waiver
Awarded to a limited number of non-Florida freshmen based on academic merit or special talent. The total amount of this award is a 50% reduction (waiver) of the out-of-state portion of tuition, valued at approximately $241 per semester hour ($7,222 based on 30 semester hours for the academic year). The waiver amount is only applied toward tuition and does not include other fees, nor does it apply toward study-abroad programs.
Veteran Tuition Waiver
C.W. Bill Young Veteran Tuition Waiver Program - This Florida legislation, effective July 1, 2014, mandates that any Florida College System institutions must waive out-of-state fees for any honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, U.S. Reserve Forces or the National Guard who physically reside in the state while enrolled.
Non-Payment of Tuition & Fees and Reinstatement
Students are expected to pay all tuition and fees by the published deadline for each semester they enroll. Students who are cancelled for non-payment of tuition and fees will not be permitted to attend classes or receive grades after the cancellation takes place. Students whose schedules are cancelled for non-payment of tuition and fees may appeal to the FSU Panama City Office of Admissions & Records for the reinstatement of their schedule.
FSU and State Employees
FSU employees in good academic standing are eligible for a tuition waiver for up to six credit hours of academic courses each term at FSU Panama City or Gulf Coast State College. Please visit our Human Resources page for more information.
