After a yearlong study with instructors from FSU Panama City’s advanced science dive program, student researchers concluded increased marine tourism is threatening area reef structures. “Preserving our Underwater Pastures: Researching the human impact on local historic artificial reef structures” measured changes in reef sizes and fish populations between July 1, 2016, to July 1, 2017.

For those students planning to continue their enrollment in the fall 2017 semester, please keep in mind that FSU Panama City students may continue to register for fall classes through Aug. 4.

In an effort to provide current and continuing FSU Panama City students with plenty of time to meet with their advisor and sign up for fall 2017 classes, FSU Panama City has extended the open registration period through 11 p.m. CST Friday, Aug. 25. Please be sure and register prior to this date to avoid the late registration fee of $100.
