Florida State University Panama City Electrical and Computer Engineering programs will host senior design projects from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, in the Holley Academic Center Lecture Hall. Engineering students will present their individual and group projects and demonstrate the results of their findings, allowing for the application of theoretical principles to real-world academic and technical challenges.

Projects include the completion of the “Bee Safe” bee-hive monitoring system and an update to Bubble Bits, a 2014 project installing a children’s bubble exhibit at the Science & Discovery Center of Northwest Florida.

Engineering Day showcases student knowledge and skill development across engineering disciplines and promotes STEM learning in the community. Questions and discussions are encouraged. The event is free and open to the public.

The program is offered at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
